The central region junior soccer association has recently concluded a sponsorship agreement with EFTel. This sponsorship agreement is in the form of trialling commissions, meaning we get a percentage of every dollar you spend with EFTel.

ADSL2+ Broadband Plans

ADSL2+ is the next generation of ADSL broadband offering faster download speeds.   EFTel ADSL2+ plans offer fantastic broadband value and when combined with their very competitive speak@home telephone plans, you will save even more on the cost of your broadband. 

EFTel's ADSL2+ plans are only available in locations supported by the brand BroadbandNext network. Currently only the Davey St and Bathurst St exchanges are BroadbandNext network in Tasmania.

EFTel provides ADSL2+ services with download speeds of up to 20Mbps.  Theoretically, ADSL2+ services have a maximum achievable speed of 24576/1024Kbps.  The actual speed of your service will depend upon a number of things, such as the distance between your premises and the telephone exchange, the quality of the copper telephone wires in your area, network load and your computer hardware.   View the complete list of factors affecting the actual speed

EFTel ADSL2+ / ADSL1 features

• 5 free email addresses ($0.95/month for each additional email address)

Flexible contract options

• No contract: $125.00 new connection OR $49.00 to transfer an existing connection*. You need to supply or purchase your own ADSL modem. An early termination fee of $75.00 applies if you cancel your service within the first 6 months.
• 12 month contract: FREE connection. You need to supply or purchase your own ADSL modem. You will be charged a maximum of $350.00 if you cancel your service before the end of your contracted period.
• 24 month contract: FREE connection and FREE standard loan modem. You will be charged a maximum of $350.00 if you cancel your service before the end of your contracted period.

Peak / Off-peak download periods

Peak period: 8.00am - 12.00am midnight
Off-peak period: 12.00am midnight - 8.00am

During each peak / off-peak period, any data you download will only count towards your quota level for the corresponding period.

EFTel ADSL2+ / ADSL1 terms and conditions

1. When the 'no contract' option is selected, relocation, connection, reconnection or transfer from another provider will incur a new Line Activation fee of $125.00. A discounted ADSL transfer fee of $49.00 applies when your existing ISP participates in the ‘fast churn process’.
2. A $75.00 early termination fee applies to clients who terminate a 'no contract' ADSL service within the first 6 months.
3. A maximum $350 termination fee applies to clients who terminate a 12 or 24 month ADSL service before the contract period has ended.
4. If your Internet access price includes a discount for using our Speak telephone service, that discount will no longer apply if you transfer any part of your Speak service to another supplier.
5. All ADSL2+ and ADSL1 plans must be paid via EFTel's auto-payment method. This free service saves you time and money by ensuring that your account is automatically paid on the due date via your nominated bank account or credit card.
6. You will incur a charge of $6.00 per GB for additional data used if you exceed your monthly data allowance.
7. Included data is split into a peak and an off-peak allowance, where off-peak time is between 12.00am and 8.00am local time. .
8. If shaping applies to your plan, your Internet speed is reduced to 64/64 Kbps once plan shaping points are reached.
9. In relation to the 8000/364kbps plans, 8000/364kbps is the maximum achievable speed. The actual speed of the service will depend upon a number of things, such as the distance between the premises and the telephone exchange, the quality of the copper telephone wires in your area, network load and your computer hardware. 10. In relation to ADSL2+ services with download speeds of up to 20Mbps. Theoretically, ADSL2+ services have a maximum achievable speed of 24576/1024Kbps. 11. The single port and 4 port router modems are realm locked, which means they can only be used on the EFTel network.

13. If you do not pay your account in full by the due date, we may suspend, restrict or terminate all services in your name. We may charge $99 to reconnect a disconnected ADSL service.
14. EFTel unlimited plans are subject to EFTel's Acceptable Use Policy.

Plan change fee: $39.00 to change your EFTel service to another plan with the same speed.
Speed change fee: $66.00 to change the speed of your EFTel service.

EFTel is constantly searching for new ways to save you money and deliver better value. You can now save between $10 - $20 per month off the cost of your ADSL account simply by switching your home phone over to EFTel's Speak telephony service.

Speak is EFTel's home telephony service which not only saves you money on your monthly broadband, but also provides you with amazingly low prices for local, long-distance and international calls.
